When a storm hits an area, many times the homeowners in that area don’t even realize that they have damage to their roofs and sidings. We offer a professional, complimentary property inspection. JR helped her make an insurance claim, met with her insurance adjuster, and eventually worked with her insurance carrier to remove the old dented aluminum siding and replace it with new, more modern and durable vinyl siding.
From the pictures you can see the dramatic transformation. In the 
span of a few days, Joyce’s home went from what was popular in 1960 to what is popular in the modern era. Her home was upgraded not only in color but also in style and material. A few months later another storm hit the Round Lake area. This time, no hail damage occurred. This time the peril was wind damage! As Joyce states the entire side of her home was lifted up by the wind. Did this extensive damage to her roof and shingles. Again JR Shaver, came out and inspected Joyce’s property again. This time the only damage was from wind to the roof. He again helped her make an insurance claim, met with her adjuster, and worked with her insurance company to get the roof on her home and garage replaced.
We think Joyce is pretty happy with our service, which is always our

What you can’t see from the pictures because it hard to capture a lower slope roof from the ground, is Joyce’s choice for roofing. She went from an old style three tab asphalt shingle to a new more modern dimensional (architectural) shingle.

Joyce: It did an extreme makeover I’ll call it, just like the TV show, that really gave the house a boost. They’ve done that and now they’ve just done both roofs in my house and garage. My name is Joyce Mirror.
Interviewer: How long have you owned your home?
Joyce: Forty-five years this month. I love it!
Interviewer: What projects have Innovative Home Concepts held for you?
Joyce: Innovative has been really good in helping with me the outside exterior of my home, putting siding, which I’m very happy with. It did an extreme makeover I’ll call it, just like the TV show, that really gave the house a boost. They’ve done that and now they’ve just done both roof in my house and garage.
Interviewer: What kind of problems were you having with your house prior to us installing?
Joyce: We had hail damage, and a few knicks and whatever, from the weather. That’s the reason I chose to have the house resided. With the roofs, it was from the wind. A little over a month ago the month was so bad, sixty miles an hour winds, it literally picked up the south-side of my home.
Interviewer: How did you hear about Innovative Home Concepts?
Joyce: Innovative was recommended to me by my neighbor who is very well-pleased with their home also. When I saw the work they did I decided to go with Innovative. Plus, the sales man was super!
Interviewer: What was your salesman’s name?
Joyce: Jay [inaudible] Shaber (sp). I was very pleased.
Interviewer: What did your neighbors have done on their house as well?
Joyce: They had siding. They probably had the same thing, hail damage. They also had their roof done on the house also. I could see all this, being right next door, and I called it the papa bear and baby bear’s house because theirs is a two-story and mine is only a ranch.
Interviewer: What were your favorite features about our product?
Joyce: I don’t know. If you mean in accents, I liked choosing the Dutch lap because there are all kinds of sidings. That caught my eye. I also recommended it to my sister-in-law on the corner who has the same house. She bought it two years after we did because she liked the area also. She’d just had Innovative do her home at the same time, almost as they did mine.
Interviewer: That’s exciting! Tell me about the process for the installation. How was the crew and the staff?
Joyce: The crew was very good. Marius, [inaudible], Leslie… I do remember their names. They were super as far as any questions I had, which I did decided to go with vinyl trim around the windows so I wouldn’t have to worry about any paint being done. With the garage, I also had it done around the doorframe because that was door. This way I feel I will never have to worry about painting the frame of the doors. That was recommended and both of them were really super.
Interviewer: How was the cleanup after the job?
Joyce: The cleanup was very good. I might have found a nail hair, one nail hair there.
Interviewer: Wonderful! Obviously, you’ve already recommended Innovative to family and friends. Would you continue to recommend us?
Joyce: Yes, I would. Yes, I would.
Interviewer: Okay. And if you were to grade us on a scale like a teacher from an A to an F, what would you give Innovative?
Joyce: A is plus, right? And F, failure? You’d get an A+! Yes, you wound.
Interviewer: Wonderful! Is there anything else you’d like to add about Innovative during your experience with us?
Joyce: No, other than they stayed on top. Really, J.R., if I called, he’d callback right away. I did speak with Raina once, I think that’s her name, in the office about getting the invoice paid. Everybody is right there to help. I had no qualms, no problems, whatsoever.
