Schedule a FREE Roof Drone Inspection Today
FAA Licensed Drone Pilot
Our drone pilots are licensed to fly drones by the FAA. This ensures all laws and rules are followed while our drones are in the air. Our pilots are experienced and get the job done in an efficient and professional manner.
The Newest Protech Equipment
To ensure that your roof is inspected thoroughly and any and all damage is detected, we use the lasted drone (proptech) technology. Our equipment will give us a detailed picture of your roof, including measurements and possible material flaws.
Artificial Intelligence Damage Detection
Unlike a hobby drone, our exclusive technology uses advanced A.I. technology that detects and notates irregularities in your roofing system. Our A.I. tells us if there are any defects in your roof, as well as, if there is wind or hail damage to your roof.
Comprehensive Damage Report
When your drone scan is complete we will assemble a detailed, easy to understand report that outlines our findings. To make sure you fully understand our findings, one of our roofing experts will sit with you and go over the report in detail.
5 Reasons Why a Drone Roof Inspection is Better than a Roofer on Your Roof
- Drones will Not Damage Your Roof. Anytime a roofer climbs on your roof there is potential for your home to get damaged. To get on your roof someone has to put up a ladder. The ladder more than likely will be leaned against your aluminium gutter. Gutters get dented and squished by ladders everyday. In addition, when a roofer walks on your roof they create what is called “foot traffic”. Shoes on asphalt shingles cause scuffs and the protective gravel to rub off. Our drone will never damage your roof because it, in fact, never comes close to touching your roof.
- Drones offer an Unbiased Inspection with No Potential for Vandalism by the “roofer”. When a roofer does a hail inspection on your roof they want to find hail damage. Some, not all, dishonest roofing contractors know what hail damage looks like and they know how to recreate it. This puts you into a situation of liability and a potential accomplice to fraud. With a drone inspection there is no potential or temptation for the operator to “create” damage to your roof. A drone has no opinion and will always give an unbiased report of the condition of your roofing system.
- Drones are More Detailed and Will Not Miss Things that are Important. Roofers are human. They get tired. They avoid scary, steep roofs. And they often miss things. A drone is a machine that never gets tired. It takes a detailed scan of our your roof, regardless of how steep it is. And because this scan is so comprehensive, the drone never misses an important detail.
- Drones Won’t Fall off a Ladder or Off of Your Roof. Ladders and roofs are dangerous. Whenever someone climbs on a ladder or roof, no matter the level of experience, there is potential for a fall. If a roofer falls and they are on your property, you may be liable. A drone will never suffer a fall from a ladder or roof. It may however fall from the sky. But if it does, the chances of a human injury is extremely low, especially when the drone pilot is licensed and trained for safe flight.
- Drones are a Faster, More Efficient Way to Inspect a Roof. A drone can be in the sky within 2 minutes of our pilot arriving at your home. There is no need for ladder set up and prep. Our drone scans a standard sized roof in 5 minutes. There is no need to trounce around your roof for an hour or more like a roofer would. All of the data is assembled immediately and is downloaded to the cloud within minutes of being within range of wifi. Unlike a roofer that has to process pictures or video from their phone, assemble them, organize them, etc. Our A.I. technology not only finds all of the defects in your roof within seconds, it also accurately measures your roof and assembles a material list that our roofers can use to replace your roof. An average roof can take even the most seasoned roofer an hour or more to measure. A larger roof can take several hours and details are many times missed.
- Drone Reports are More Likely to be Accepted by an Insurance Carrier as proof of Legitimate Wind and Hail damage. Insurance companies will always send their own adjuster/inspector to look at your roof if you suspect that it has been damaged. In fact, many are now sending out drones to do their initial inspections. However, if there is a question or a dispute raised by your insurance adjuster, they will give more creadiance to an unbiased, technology based inspection report than to the word of a roofer who more than likely has financial interest in damage being found.
Now that the technology is available, there is no reason to have a roofer inspect your roof to determine if you have wind or hail damage. A drone can do it more accurately, more efficiently, in an unbiased way, and without the potential for accidental or purposeful damage being done by a clumsy or unscrupulous roofing contractor.
